Ideal for elevated temperature aging tests, these ovens are designed for desiccation, vacuum embedding, plating, process control, and inert atmosphere applications. Ovens feature a maximum temperature of 280°C (536°F). Radiant warm wall heaters are mounted outside of the chamber to conserve chamber working space and to eliminate the hazards of open wire heaters. Two fully adjustable chrome-plated shelves improve heat conduction to samples and are easily removed for cleaning. Vacuum lines, air lines, and oven interior are constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel for optimum chamber cleanliness and durability. Ovens feature a glass window in the door for clear sample viewing and a durable, powder-coated, heavy gauge steel exterior. Two LED's show oven conditions. Vacuum controls and relief valves are located on front of the unit for convenient monitoring. Compression fittings on the sidewall of the oven accept 0.6cm (¹/₄") hard tubing for pump and air connections. The built-in safety controller prevents temperature runaway with a back-up thermostat. Unit 89008-816 can accommodate up to eight shelves and includes a single data point controller. Unit 89008-784 features a seven-day programmable timer that cycles the oven on or off up to eight times per day.
