Product Category Description:

Inserts provide independent access to the basolateral and apical domains of polar cells for transport studies, cell migration, and invasion studies. Track-etched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) membranes have individual cylindrical pores and are amendable for immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. Transparent membranes allow visualization of live cells by light microscopy. High-density translucent membranes are recommended for transport studies. For best results, use with cell culture companion plates (see 62406-185 series).
