Product Category Description:

This unique vessel features a side access tube with a membrane screw top that allows change of or addition to the growth medium without disturbing the vessel’s contents. Many different stages of plant tissue culture can be completed without transferring tissue from different vessels, reducing the potential for contamination and tissue damage. Tissue is supported on a floating explant holder that keeps the tissue in constant contact with the medium for improved nutrient and oxygen uptake. Lid has an inward slope to minimize condensation and to allow stacking for efficient incubation. Vessel is molded of clear polycarbonate with a polypropylene screw cap. All parts are autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). (Bel-Art F389810000)
