Portable Polyethylene Fume Hoods, SCIENCEWARE*

Provide a clean, well-ventilated, safe work area to protect personnel from chemical fumes. Portable fume hoods feature one-piece, molded polyethylene construction. A clear acrylic sliding panel travels at a slant and can be maintained in the open, closed, or intermediate position. Closed panel leaves a gap at the bottom for continuous air flow.

Fume hood 30181-775 has a 15cm (6") O.D. ventilating stack that accepts ducting from a blower or central exhaust system. Fume hood 30181-797, is the same as hood 30181-775 except for a flat internal baffle across the rear of the shell. The baffle slopes forward leaving space beneath for airflow to sweep the deck and space above to remove airborne vapors or gases. Fume hood 30181-755 is a smaller version of hood 30181-775 with ventilating stack stepped to accept either a 10cm (4") or 15cm (6") diameter duct.
