Unit features an external thermometer probe with 3.1m (10') cable and a 2.9cm (11/8") high digital readout that continuously and simultaneously displays ambient humidity and ambient and external probe temperatures. Display is updated once a second and is readable from up to 10.7m (35'). Fast-response, solid-state sensors show condition changes in less than 30 seconds. The minimum and maximum memories may be displayed or cleared at any time with the touch of a button. External temperature sensor performs accurately under water. Self-contained unit requires no adjustment or maintenance. Case is chemical and shock-resistant ABS plastic.

A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Unit meets federal requirements for CLIA specification 493.1207 for monitoring temperature and humidity.
