Built to meet industry standards for 384-well microplate footprints and well locations, the CrystalEX 384-well microplate is designed for full automation in crystal screening. The 192 reservoir wells feature 192 corresponding protein wells that are positioned to be compatible with multihead dispensing equipment. Reservoir wells have a volume of 105µL; flat-bottom protein wells are 4µL. Microplates are manufactured from a clear polymer with a high resistance to most commonly used solvents. Low background polarization and high optical clarity allow protein crystals to be easily viewed under polarized light with minimal background interference.
