Stripwell* low volume wells are designed with one-half the well area of a standard 8-well strip, providing a much greater surface-to-volume ratio. Ideal for in vitro diagnostic assays. Suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules with large hydrophobic regions (such as antibodies) that can interact with the hydrophobic polystyrene surface. Flat bottom strips are designed to break apart and are pre-assembled in an “egg-crate” style strip holder that allows each individual well to be positioned back into the plate once broken. White wells enhance luminescent signals, have low background luminesence and fluorescence, and prevent well-to-well crosstalk. Strips fit only one way into the strip holder, preventing misorientation.

Medium binding surface is hydrophobic in nature and binds molecules through passive interactions. This surface is suitable for the immobilization of large molecules with large hydrophobic regions, such as antibodies.

The high binding surface binds medium (>10kD) and large biomolecules with ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions. Binding capacity is approximately 400 to 500ng lgG/cm². Ideal for immunoassays.
