Detergent-OUT* is a rapid column based system that removes free detergent from aqueous protein solutions in 5-10 minutes and allows >95% recovery. The micro kits (82022-568 and 82022-564) can be used to process up to 0.5mL protein solution per column and the medi kits (82022-570 and 82022-566) can be used to process up to 2mL protein solution per column. Detergent-OUT DTG-100X will work with a wide variety of detergents, including Triton*, NP-40, CTAB, CHAPS, Lubrol, and deoxycholate. Detergent-OUT SDS-300 is specifically designed for the removal of SDS.

For detergent removal from hydrophobic protein solutions, OrgoSol-Detergent-OUT* kits are recommended. They remove all detergents, regardless of concentration, and simultaneously concetrate the protein sample in 5-10 minutes with ~100% recovery. The kits are not recommended for proteins that may lose biological activity when precipitated. The micro kit will process up to 10mL protein solution and the medi kit will process up to 30mL protein solution.
