The GELMASTER gel dryer contains two pumps in one system: a room-temperature vapor pump/trap that condenses hot vapors, and a diaphragm pump that delivers a consistent vacuum for fast, smooth drying. The dual pumping feature makes this instrument as fast as a two-stage vacuum pump, yet faster than a conventional stand-alone diaphragm pump. The 1.5L capacity vapor pump/trap allows 10 to 15 gel drying runs before emptying via the drain valve.

Vapors are contained in the trapping medium rather than being pumped into the air of the laboratory. The medium is reusable, since it does not mix with the condensate, which helps to eliminate waste.

The 115V vacuum system is CSA certified. The 220V vacuum system is CE certified.
