KIMAX* RAY-SORB* Media/Storage Bottles, Kimble Chase

RAY-SORB process provides a shield to protect light-sensitive products, allowing less than 1% light transmission below 400nm and 5% transmission from 400-600nm compared with untreated clear borosilicate glass. Bottles feature enhanced 50mL graduation intervals, drip-free pour ring, and a GL45 screw thread polypropylene cap.

Ordering Information: Membrane caps (89000-948) are designed with a 0.2µm PTFE membrane barrier to allow pressure equilibrium during low temperature autoclaving up to 140°C (284°F). The high-temperature caps (89000-946) are made of PBT with a PTFE-faced liner for good chemical resistance to alcohols, ethers, hydrocarbons, and dilute or strong acids. These caps are suitable for temperatures up to 180°C (356°F).
