These centrifuges handle many sizes of centrifuge vessels from a 100ml bottle to a 0.2ml PCR tube. The various rotor offerings make these the most versatile centrifuges. Many models are available refrigerated. In choosing a multipurpose centrifuge look for the rotor first which handles the vessel size and speed (g force) you need. For instance if you search for a 50ml rotor on LabPlanet the search will offer you options for rotors which can handle 50ml tubes. Look for the rotor which has the speed you need. Choosing a General Purpose Centrifuge

Determine how what size tubes you will be spinning; this could be 1.5ml microcentrifuge tube, 50ml centrifuge tubes, and/or 250ml centrifuge bottles. Search for rotors which will handle the tubes you will be using at the speeds you need. The centrifuge which handles the rotor(s) you need will be the correct centrifuge.
