Purifier* Non-Ventilated Tissue Culture Enclosure, Labconco*

Provides a non-ventilated, circulation-free work area designed to reduce cross-contamination in laboratory applications such as tissue staining, culture growth, and virus harvesting. The unit is constructed of UV-resistant, glacier white, dry powder, epoxy-coated aluminum and steel with 0.6cm (1/4") tempered safety glass sash and sides. The angled, hinged sash features a 19.8cm (713/16") high opening for closer, more comfortable viewing than vertical sashes and bifold doors that fold back completely for full access to the enclosure opening.

A fluorescent light provides a bright, nonglare working area, and a UV light provides secondary surface decontamination while the cabinet is unattended. Both lights are controlled by a single three-way switch, but only one light may be on at a time to protect the user from inadvertent UV exposure.

Base stands are made of durable 4.4cm (13/4") thick, tubular, glacier white epoxy-coated steel and have an adjustable height from 70-85cm (271/2-331/2") in 2.5cm (1") increments. Stands with casters feature 12.7cm (5") diameter toe-locking casters with bearings for quiet operation. An optional work surface is available with raised edges to contain spills.

The 115V model is ETL and ETL-C listed. The 230V model is CE marked.

Warning: This is a non-ventilated, circulation-free enclosure. It is not suitable for biohazardous, toxic, or volatile procedures. Because there is no exhaust system in the enclosure, continuous flame or high heat sources should not be used.

Ordering Information: Manufacturer’s one-year warranty on parts and labor. Each enclosure includes a grounded, switched electrical receptacle and a 4.5m (15') three-wire cord with appropriate plug.
