Vacuum Desiccator Cabinet, Fiberglass, Labconco*

Suitable for storing items while cooling from oven temperatures. Use for thin layer chromatography plates, chemical standards, halide salt cells for IR spectrophotometers and many other storage and drying applications requiring corrosion-free, contamination-free conditions. Features a test-rating of 25" of mercury.

One-piece body is of polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass. Fully gasketed, clear tempered glass window is mounted in the epoxy-coated, steel door with stainless steel trim and chrome-plated hinges. Cabinet can be inverted for left-handed opening. Nine shelf supports are molded into walls of the cabinet on 1" centers. Two adjustable aluminum shelves are 12" square and have twelve 7/8" holes.

A vacuum source and granular desiccant are reccommended for operation (not included).

Ordering Information: Includes desiccant pan, two removable shelves, vacuum release needle valve with serrated tip which accommodates 1/4" I.D. vacuum tubing, and one epoxy-coated steel wire support stand. Stacking rack is constructed of charcoal colored, epoxy coated steel. Vacuum tubing kit contains; two 1.22m (4') long tubes with inner diameters of 6.35mm (0.25") and 12.7mm (0.5"), tubing clamps, and a 12.7mm (0.5") to 6.35mm (0.25") reducer. Vacuum tubing kit and stacking rack sold separately.
