Ideal for bioprocessing applications. Instead of a threaded closure system, carboys feature a 76mm (3") sanitary flange that accepts standard TC fittings. Containers may be sealed securely with a solid end cap (16210-098) and clamp, or adapted to another TC fitting for filling and dispensing. Convenient shoulder handles. Meet USP-VI criteria and noncytotoxic. A plastic true union clamp (16210-116) is recommended instead of a metal clamp.
