Product Category Description:

Softube* Quick-Disconnect Fitting, NALGENE*

For use with flexible plastic tubing. Excellent for applications where tubing is frequently removed. Combines easy, leakproof connection with Softube ends and one-handed disconnection using a positive latch action. Polypropylene body, acetal sleeve, stainless steel springs and latches, EPR seal. No tools or clamps needed. Spring-loaded valve stops fluid flow when fitting halves are separated.

Maximum working pressure: 8.2psig (120bar) at 23°C (75°F). Working pressure is limited by the tubing and is usually lower than this number. Refer to your tubing’s technical specifications. Autoclavable, but may distort during autoclaving.
