Product Category Description:

Two-part fitting permits one-handed, quick-disconnects for many types of flexible tubing, including these NALGENE brand tubing products: 180 clear plastic, 980 braided. Features polypropylene body, acetal sleeve, stainless steel springs and latches and EPR seal. Spring-loaded valve stops fluid flow when fitting halves are separated. Leakproof connections. May require clamps. Maximum working pressure: 8.2psig (120bar) at 23°C (75°F). Working pressure is limited by the tubing and is usually lower than this number. Refer to your tubing’s technical specifications. Autoclavable, but may distort during autoclaving.
