Non-toxic inserts ease cultivation of most cell types without matrix coating. Inserts are treated and quality-controlled for cell culture. Both the Anopore* and polycarbonate membranes provide excellent attachment and growth for cells. Membranes are resistant to most solvents.

The Anopore membrane is a rigid, inorganic membrane with a 40-50% surface porosity. When wet, the membrane becomes highly transparent, providing maximum clarity for inverted and electron microscope examinations. Not autofluorescent.

The polycarbonate membrane features larger pore sizes, making it suitable for chemotaxis studies. Membrane is easily removed and ideal for sectioning for transmission electron microscopy using a glass knife.

The 10mm inserts fit Nunclon*DELTA MultiDish 24-well plates. The 25mm inserts fit MultiDish 6-well plates (see 62407-068 series). Radiation sterilized.
