The SPOTCHEM EZ is a compact benchtop chemistry analyzer that utilizes dry chemistry technology. Designed for use in clinical laboratories, physician offices, and research facilities where efficient, low volume test procedures are required. Dry chemistry technology requires no storage or handling of liquid reagents. Testing is performed on reagent strips with results typically available in eight minutes. Maximum throughput is 48 tests per hour. The instrument accepts whole blood, serum, and heparinized plasma samples and is calibrated automatically with the swipe of a magnetic card. The extremely small footprint is well suited to laboratories with limited space. The SPOTCHEM EZ can also centrifuge whole blood samples.

Test results are available on the instrument's integral printer or downloaded via an LIS system. The analyzer accommodates a broad menu of tests, many of which are CLIA-waived.
