This half cell electrode is primarily intended to measure low level cyanide ion activity in plating baths or mineral extractions and to monitor cyanide in waste discharges. Iodide, sulfide, and strong reducing agents interfere with response to cyanide ion, so sulfide and iodide must be absent from the sample. Use with reference electrode 34107-956.
