This motor-driven mill is ideal for rapid milling of samples of desiccated plant tissue or similar materials. Two stationary blades and rotor with four cutting edges revolve at high speed to produce a shearing action. Samples are introduced through hopper top, agitated by high speed rotor until cut fine enough to fall through screen top of delivery tube. Removable delivery tube forms bottom of mill chamber. Small samples are collected in a 22mm sq. x 19mm deep receiver. Large samples are collected in a 4oz. screw cap jar. Removable safety glass cover plate permits observation. Three speeds can be obtained by changing the position of the V-belt.
