Thermometer receives a wireless radio signal from the remote sensor module, which transmits a temperature signal on a frequency of 433mHz. Place the main unit on a desk or bench, and the remote sensor module on fume hoods, refrigerators, or incubators, in storage facilities, or even outdoors. Signal ranges from 19.8-39.6m (65-130').
Thermometer displays transmitted data every 30 seconds on LCD readout. Digits are 2.9cm (11/8") high. Display indicates rising or falling temperature. An alarm may be set in 1° increments. Alarm sounds when temperature rises above or falls below the two set points. Minimum and maximum memory readouts allow monitoring of conditions overnight, weekly, or for any time period. Unit can monitor three different remote sensor modules simultaneously. Case is high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
The splash-proof remote sensor module is equipped with an internal sensor and an external sensor probe with 3m (10') cable. Module probe and cable perform accurately, even when under water. Case is high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
Stainless steel probe accessory 21800-030, has a 1.5m (5') cable, and can be used with liquids, air/gas, or semisolids. External bottle probe accessory 21800-008 is sealed in a mini-bottle filled with a glycol solution for temperature buffering. It monitors products subjected to door openings in freezers, refrigerators, and incubators.
A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Ordering Information: Thermometer is supplied complete with one remote sensor module, flip-open stand, external probe/cable, wall bracket, Velcro® fastener to attach to any surface, and two AA and two AAA alkaline batteries. Both thermometer and remote sensor module are supplied with a plastic case. Bottle probe is supplied with a 3m (10') cable, and magnetic strip and Velcro strip for mounting. Additional remote sensor modules and probes are available, sold separately.
