Product Category Description:

These lightweight venting filters are constructed from a single standardized set of materials (polypropylene & PTFE). Ideal for both small laboratory scale to large process size vessels. Filters allow only sterile, microfiltered air to replace the liquid drawn off for use. Pressure within a sealed vessel is equalized with external atmospheric pressure, and reaction gases are safely vented off without contaminating either the environment or the tank contents. Filters are autoclavable, biosafe, and have a hydrophobic 0.2µm PTFE membrane.
