Electroporation and electro cell fusion in one instrument. Ideal for animal embryo cloning; hybridoma and quadroma production; plant protoplast fusion for transgenic plant generations; and electroporation of plant cells, mammalian cells, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.

Unit generates an AC wave form for benign dielectrophoretic alignment of cells. The 1mHz AC pulse aligns cells in real time. Efficient fusion is achieved by the AC/DC microsecond switch-over time. After fusion, AC reapplication keeps cells together for the rounding off process.

With its wide range of voltages and pulse lengths, the 3000V DC square pulse section can be used as a stand-alone electroporation system, capable of operating into low impedance loads. Number of pulses is 0-9.

Systems feature manual and automatic start. Capability for up to nine sequence repeats, which allows expansion of parameters for future applications. Serial RS232C port for printer connection.
